It would depend on the alcohol content of the wine, the amount of wine in the bottle, the weight of the person drinking it, and what the person had to eat prior to drinking the wine are just some of the factors which would enter into any calculation for the wait before driving. Normally it would be somewhere between three and six hours.
1 hour per ounce of alcohol. Your weight plays a factor as well.
Half a bottle of wine is equivalent to 2 small glasses of wine which is basically 4.6 units, possibly more depending on if your using strict measures. The limit is 4 units in your blood stream. So I would give it four hour at least before you drive if you want to be safe. Drinking stimulants such as coffee and drinking water may decrease the chance of being detected and also will sober you up quicker.
