Pork chops are delicious. But since they can cause a disease like trichinosis, it is very important to cook it thoroughly. Freezing kills the germs. So the next time you go to market, you spot cheap pork chops, make sure you buy them and store them in the freezer.

In order to cook pork chops in a skill, medium-heat a little amount of oil in a big skillet. Place the thawed chops in the skillet. Make sure that you do not cover the skillet. Flip the chops occasionally until they turn brown on either side. Use seasoning as required and serve hot. A ¾ inch chop takes about 5-10 minutes of cooking time. If the cuts are thinner, the cooking time is even less. The thick cuts require moderate heat while thinner cuts can be done with higher amount of heat. In other words, a 1 ½ inch chop can take about 10-20 minutes.
