Milanesa is the name of an Argentinean meat dish. Milanesa consists of a thin sliced layer of beef; alternately chicken or veal can also be used. The slices of meat are dipped in beaten egg and are seasoned with salt and several condiments. The slices are battered in flour and shallw fried.
Here is an excellent recipe for Argentinean Milanesa. Around two lbs of sliced thin eye of the round is required. Other ingredients include four eggs, flavoured bread crumbs, flour, parsley, oregano and grated parmesan cheese. The eggs have to be mixed with grated cheese, oregano and parsley.
