I am a big fan of paula deen and she has a recipe for bbq meatloaf. And now this is the only way I will make it. It is awesome. Here is the recipe ingredients.
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef, 1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs,(these are in a can in the stuffing section of the grocery store) 1 onion chopped, 1 egg lightly beaten, 1 1/2 teaspoon pepper, two 8oz. Cans tamato sauce, 1/2 cup water, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons prepared mustard and 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce.
Mix together the beef, breadcrums, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce. Form this mixture into a loaf and place it in a shallow pan (don't forget to spary with no-stick spray) . Stir together the ramining tomato sauce , the water,, vinegar, sugar, mustard, and worcestershire . Pour the sauce over the meatloaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting occasionally with pan juices.
Then boil you some cabbage with a peice of country ham , and a little red pepper flakes, and make some cream potatoes. And whatever type of bread your want or fry some corn bread.
Hope this helped.
