Yes you can. Use a stainless steel or aluminium Dutch oven or turkey roaster pan. Season the meat, (garlic, onions, carrots, etc.) add about three cups of water and cover it. If the pan does not have a lid or the lid does not fit very tight to make a good seal, use aluminium foil and make sure the edges are sealed very good. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and cook the roast for 3 hours if it is two or three pounds. If it is larger I would let it in for four hours. Be very careful when removing the foil then it is done. Use a fork and stand back. The rush of steam exiting the pan is very hot and can cause serious burns. Let it cool for at least thirty min. before cutting.
