Did you know that chocolate is not considered to be a junk food because it has milk in it? Did you also know how scientists are raving about chocolate to lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases and possibly cancer? Well, chocolate is good for you, but in moderate amounts (and just for the record, people who claim about benefits of chocolate are talking about dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate, bon bons or chocolate icecreams!)
If you consume too much of it, you would probably put on a lot of extra weight which is unhealthy as a result of all the fat and sugar added to it to make it taste so good. Also, the sugar in it may also lead to dental diseases.
So, chocolate is not unhealthy in a little amount, but overdo it and you are going to be carrying around some extra pounds and a terrible tooth ache.

Chocolate is considered very unhealthy as it has a number of ingredients that are unhealthy such as antioxidants, refined sugar, milk products, corn syrup, chemical flavoring and Carob.

Raw Chocolate or cocoa is very bitter naturally so in order to make commercial chocolate it is mixed with milk, processed corn sugar, unhealthy fats, artificial flavors and also lots and lots of refined sugar. Now all these ingredients are totally unhealthy for human beings especially kids. They increase the risk of heart diseases, diabetes and also create obesity in kids.

The protein in milk binds up with antioxidants in the chocolate, thus making it unavailable. Chocolate is also said to contain addictive stimulants and cannabinoids that have side effects on health.

The fact that chocolates bring energy and comfort is because it is a drug as it has stimulants like caffeine and theobromine.
