Alamang is a side dish or an enhancer. The ingredients required to prepare it are tiny salted shrimp, two cloves of garlic, chillies to your discretion, pork to your needs but cut small, cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced shallots, vinegar, sweetener and sugar cubes.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the pork and garlic until it turns brown and fry the shallot until it turns translucent. Then add the tomatoes and chillies and stir. After that add vinegar and stir until it starts to simmer for 15 minutes. Later the sweetener is to be added and if required add sugar cubes to make the taste as you want it. Cook until it becomes dryish then leave it to cool before filling it in the jar.
